Witchblade is an anime series based on the comic book of the same name.

Witchblade is a co-production between Japanese studio Gonzo and the American publisher Top Cow, who owns the rights for the Witchblade franchise.

In Witchblade, the lead character is Masane Amaha. (Bio. Biography) Masane is the latest in a long line of female bearers of the Witchblade, an arcane and ancient weapon of unthinkable power. Conscripted into the service of the Doji Group, she is charged with destroying X-Cons, a murderous scourge of mysterious origin stalking the streets of Tokyo. She is fairly clumsy and very kind hearted. For whatever reason, she lost her memory during an unknown catastrophy that hit Tokyo. Oddly, Masane was found unharmed in the phenomenon's ground zero, holding a baby in her arms.

Six years later, the slim and busty Masane returns to Tokyo with the child, now called Rihoko, that she cares for as a daughter. She then discovers that the mysterious jewel that is attached to her right wrist is actually the legendary artifact known as the "Witchblade".

With this new found power, Masane becomes involved in the struggle for power between a huge corporation and a government agency, constanly drawn into the fight while trying to live her life peacefully with her daughter.

Now, the Witchblade characters (as well as others) have gone from 2D to 3D with these great new collectible works of art known as Anime Figures or PVC Figurines.
